The Emerging Northeast Eco-Forum (ENEEF) is a collaborative platform and policy-driven think tank committed to catalyzing holistic, sustainable, and inclusive economic transformation in India’s North East Region (NER). Positioned at the intersection of research, innovation, public-private partnerships, and regional collaboration, ENEEF seeks to unlock the full potential of the region by fostering economic integration, ecological stewardship, human capital development, and cultural preservation.
Born out of a vision to serve as a strategic enabler for economic empowerment and sustainable growth, the Forum functions as a bridge between stakeholders — including governments, businesses, academia, civil society, indigenous communities, and international agencies — to co-create a resilient and thriving regional economy.
Our Team
Satyajit Aribam
Founder & Chairman
Satyajit Aribam is the Founder and Chairman of the Emerging North East Eco Forum (ENEEF). He also serves as the Strategic Advisor and Regional Head for the North East Region at DADB India. With a strong background in strategic planning and regional development, Aribam has been instrumental in fostering collaborations between Northeast India and international partners. Notably, he led ENEEF's delegation to Kuala Lumpur to explore joint research and development opportunities in various sectors, including social sciences and food science.
Kalpen Shukla
Strategic Advisor
Kalpen Shukla is an explorer-cum-experimenter - creating ‘Social Capital’ and former COO at British Gas Broadband. He has a B Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi (1984) and a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad (1986). He has also worked at Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Pidilite amongst others.
Vickram Maitei

Vickram Maitei is a seasoned techno-entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in technology, innovation, and leadership. He has led ventures in the Energy Sector, emerging technologies and renewable energy driving product innovation and building high-performance teams.
Rajendra Pandey
Strategic Advisor
Rajendra Pandey is a Strategic Advisor at ENEEF, bringing a wealth of experience in financial management and strategic planning. His expertise aidsin the formulation of effective strategies for sustainable economic growth in Northeast India.
Niranchai Tripati
Executive Member
Mr. Niranchai Tripati serves as an Executive Member of ENEEF from Thailand. He plays a vital role in enhancing India-Thailand relations through the platform, contributing insights on regional cooperation, cultural exchange, and economic development. With his strong understanding of Southeast Asian dynamics, Mr. Tripati supports ENEEF in forging transnational partnerships to drive forward-looking initiatives in Northeast India.
